Molly Tuttle is an American vocalist, songwriter, banjo player, guitarist and teacher in the bluegrass traditions. She has many talents and creating her dream band is one of them! In 2021 she assembled the Golden Highway group consisting of Shelby Means on bass, Kyle Tuttle on the banjo, Bronwyn Keith-Hynes on the fiddle and Dominick Leslie on the mandolin. Every single one of these amazing artists also support on the vocals.

Before the band was formed Molly Tuttle was the first woman to win the international bluegrass music associations ‘Guitar player of the year’ award and she went on to win this again in 2018! In 2018 she was the Americana Music Associations ‘Instrumentalist of the year’. Her music career started at the very young age of eight and at the age of eleven she was already playing onstage with her father Jack Tuttle who is a bluegrass multi-instrumentalist and bluegrass instructor. You can see she followed very closely in his footsteps.

At the age of 15 she joined the family band and in 2012 she went on to be awarded a merit scholarship to the Berkley College of Music. She became well known for her flatpicking, claw hammer and cross picking guitar prowess. After creating her dream band they went on to release “Crooked Tree” in 2022 and then “City of Gold” in 2023 both of these albums charted at number one on the Unites States Bluegrass charts. In 2023, Molly Tuttle and Golden Highway won ‘International Bluegrass Music Awards’ for their album “Crooked Tree” and the title track in the categories of ‘Album of the Year’ and ‘Song of the Year’, respectively, while Molly Tuttle won ‘Female Vocalist of the Year.’ These albums also aided in Molly Tuttle receiving a Grammy Award for best bluegrass album.

You will not want to miss out on these talented instrumentalists! Put your dancing shoes on and hit that ‘Buy Tickets Now’ button and get your feet ready for a night of tapping and dancing, there is no exceptions when it comes to this!
