Apres at The Amp: Jungle & L’Imperatrice

Jungle's Volcano album really cemented them as the premier neo-soul or neo-disco act. It's tough to bring out some traditional sounds in new tracks and have buy-in from the public. It's taken Jungle a while, actually, to truly break out. When they did, though, it was massive! They're going to be bringing those disco beats to the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in the night at the Apres at The Amp, which promises to be a lot more chill. This lineup hopes to appeal to a larger crowd. You don't have to be one of the young bucks that may want to stay out all night at the rave on Saturday, April 5th. This concert's going to be a tame but incredible experience nonetheless.

The inclusion of French band L'Imperatrice was a no-brainer. They bring certain similar sounds to the table. Vail caters to an international audience at the slopes, so having bands that can appeal to these people for the closing event that Apres at The Amp is a great idea. The only issue is that L'Imperatrice is currently without a lead singer. It's really not clear how they're going to tackle the situation. Especially since they've got important dates like this one in Vail already on the calendar. The intrigue adds a nice touch to the event, for sure. You can come out hoping to have a great time and with that sense of mystery that L'Imperatrice currently brings to the table.
